The Lodge Christian Retreat Center and Mi Wuk Village Inn

Ashley Ball is a lifelong Tuolumne County resident who currently manages The Lodge Christian Retreat Center and Mi Wuk Village Inn. For 33 years, she has called this community home and serves in multiple capacities at Chapel in the Pines. Her deep love for Tuolumne County and its people drives her commitment to seeing community needs met and lives improved.

Adventist Health Sonora


Mario is always looking for connections in our community that can make it stronger. In 2016, he met Jeff Pishney, founder of Love Our Cities, and was inspired to start something similar in Tuolumne County. In 2018, he and Nate Levering, Lead Pastor at Sierra Bible Church, began reaching out to community leaders to build a service-oriented, collaborative organization, and Love Tuolumne County was born.

Born and raised in Tuolumne County and a graduate of Summerville High, Jonathan Foley has deep roots in the community. For decades he has been involved in local soccer as both a player and a coach, investing in youth and the growth of the sport. As a Pastor at Word of Life Fellowship, he loves seeing the community come together and is dedicated to fostering unity throughout the region.

Word of Life Fellowship

Eric Gilliatt is a Tuolumne County native with a deep commitment to serving both his community and the people in it. Through his role on the disc golf board and his work as Facility Manager at Word of Life Fellowship, Eric actively supports projects that bring people together and care for shared spaces. He is passionate about seeing Tuolumne County thrive and is grateful to raise his family here with his wife, Elisabeth, and their son, Simon.

Born and raised in Tuolumne County and a graduate of Sonora High School, Jaq has long appreciated how our community looks out for one another and steps up to help when neighbors are in need. She serves as Marketing and Communications Director for Adventist Health's Greater Sacramento region and is grateful to be raising her family in her hometown with her husband, Rob, their son Lyle, and corgi Walter.

For the past four years, Mark has been part of the Love Tuolumne County board, jumping in to help with finance and reporting wherever needed. He loves giving back and staying involved in the community, and you can usually find him pitching in on projects that make life a little brighter for everyone.

Howard loves our Tuolumne County communities, and has enjoyed working with the Love Tuolumne County leadership team since inception in 2020. A certified Project Management Professional, Howard has counseled hundreds of small businesses and nonprofit organizations through the Small Business Development Center and Service Corps of Retired Executives.
